You may have seen or heard media coverage of a High Court ruling concerning the equalisation of Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMP) between men and women.

The majority of members of the Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund will have a Guaranteed Minimum Pension contained within their overall pension entitlement, providing they joined the scheme before 6 April 1997.

It's important to stress that despite some of the headlines, we expect the impact to be limited - and in many cases there will be no impact at all.
